Control cabinet:

When selecting the control cabinet matching with the electric heater, attention should be paid to:

Installation location: indoor, outdoor, land, Marine (including offshore platforms)

Installation method: Hanging or floor type

Power supply: single-phase 220V, three-phase 380V (AC 50HZ)

Control mode: level temperature control, stepless temperature control, ON~OFF type

Items such as rated capacity, number of circuits, installation location and installation method should be selected according to actual conditions. Please read the manual of electric heating control cabinet in detail when selecting and ordering.

 

1. Install

(1) The electric heater support or base should be fixed on a stable and firm foundation. The horizontal electric heater is installed horizontally. The oil outlet is vertical, and the by-pass pipeline should usually be installed to meet the needs of the electric heater maintenance work and seasonal operation. The front side of the junction box of the horizontal electric heater should have a space of the same length as the heater for core extraction and repair.

(2) Before the installation of the electric heater, the insulation resistance between the main terminal and the shell should be tested with a 1000V gauge, and the absolute resistance should be ≥1.5MΩ, and the Marine electric heater should be ≥10MΩ; And check the body and components for defects.

(3) The control cabinet produced by the factory is non-explosion-proof equipment and should be installed outside the explosion-proof area (safe area). A comprehensive inspection should be carried out during installation, and the wiring should be correctly connected according to the wiring diagram provided by the factory

(4) Electric heater terminal box diagram.

(5) The electrical wiring must meet the explosion-proof requirements, and the cable must be copper core wire and connected with the wiring nose.

(6) The electric heater is provided with a special grounding bolt, the user should reliably connect the grounding wire to the bolt, the grounding wire should be more than 4mm2 multi-strand copper wire, and the grounding wire of the special matching electric heating control cabinet is reliably connected.

(7) After the wiring is completed, Vaseline must be applied to the joint of the junction box to ensure that the seal is intact.

 

2. Trial operation

(1) The insulation of the system should be checked again before trial operation; Check whether the power supply voltage is consistent with the nameplate; Recheck whether the electrical wiring is correct.

(2) In accordance with the provisions of the temperature regulator operating instructions, according to the technical requirements of the reasonable set of temperature values.

(3) The overtemperature protector of the electric heater has been set according to the explosion-proof temperature, and does not need to be adjusted.

(4) During trial operation, first open the inlet and outlet pipe valve, close the bypass valve, exhaust the air in the heater, and the electric heater can enter the normal trial operation after the medium is full. Serious warning: Absolutely prohibited electric heater dry burning!

(5) The equipment should be operated correctly according to the operation instructions of the drawings and record the voltage, current, temperature and other relevant data during operation, and the formal operation can be arranged after 24 hours of trial operation without abnormal conditions.

(6) After the successful trial operation, please make the electric heater heat preservation treatment in time.
